Overview

Boson Energy is a developer of technology, solutions and projects for recycling otherwise non-recyclable waste and biomass into 1) carbon-negative Hydrogen, H2-powered fast charging, H2-powered grid support; 2) green molecules like methanol, ammonia, and urea; 3) green CO2 to replace fossil CO2 in vertical farming, food and beverages and other industries; and 4) cell glass insulation material, from the vitrified solid glass slag output, to replace concrete. The core technology is gasification-based and has been proven on real waste up to TRL 7-8. All downstream processes, that complete the system solution, are established technologies and provided by world-leading partners. Boson and global partners work to deliver clean and efficient solutions that are distributed, standardised, and modular – and we are building a supply chain with high capacity to scale from day one. Boson is currently developing a several thermochemical recycling projects across mainly Sweden, Poland, Israel, and India – including local energy supply to a Swedish port that aims to be the first carbon negative port in the world. The project is developed together with an international port group. Several of the projects in development are included in the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance project pipeline. The combination of low cost and high availability of local Hydrogen from waste, produced in distributed plants, allows for meeting and beating diesel/gasoline parity, grid parity and the cost of other sources of green methanol, ammonia, and urea – today. Distributed, standardised and modular solutions delivered together with world leading-partners.
