Overview

Bokskogens Golf Club, one of the finest in the country, offering two unique courses, each in a different environment. The entrance to the course have often been selected most beautiful golfentrance in Sweden. Driving into the beech forest and follow it into the club and then walk out into this nature with old beech and oak trees and holes by the lake Yddingen. The Old Course with its generous fairways, water hazards and large immaculate putting surfaces, challenges club players and professionals alike. With six tees, there is a choice for all players. The Kings Course has slightly narrower fairways and smaller greens and puts the focus on accuracy of the short game. The Bokskogen Old Course has hosted European Tour events on several occasions, such as the PLM Open and the SEO. The course record is held by Jose Maria Olazabal. Bokskogen has also hosted The Boys European Championship and in 2011, the first Team World Championship for Disabled Golfers. It was the venue for the Tour Championship on the Scandinavian Tour in 2013 and 2014. It hosted the Annika Invitational Europe 2016. A must play for all golfers. Bokskogens GK is the home of two time Ryder Cup player Peter Hanson. With a few steps back in time, it is easy to realize that Bokskogens GK is located on historic ground. At the Kings course 6th hole, King Karl XII and his horse rested under the large oaktree. In year 1845 the Crown prince Karl, who was later crowned King Karl XV, visited and a memorial stone was raised by Duke Stig Thott from Skabersjö castle.
