The Power and Energy Society is the world’s largest forum for sharing the latest technological developments in the electric power industry. This Society provides a great platform to empower development of technology & software in all areas of Electric Power and Energy including generation, transmission, distribution and utilization to provide a reliable, resilient, safe, cost-effective and sustainable electricity supply system to the end-user. Energy Conservation is a need of the hour. PES funds research in sustainable sources of energy. PES members also gain access to the IEEE PES Resource Center, a library with hundreds of technical reports, tutorials, conference videos, webinars, presentations and more. Moreover, PES offers networking opportunities, access to peer-reviewed technical journals and educational materials that help our members stay up-to-date on the latest advances. The PES Society at BMSCE not only aims at encouraging young learners to pursue research in the field of Power and Energy but also helps students gain the required skills for the industry. Various workshops, technical talks and seminars are conducted along with frequent industrial trips making the society a great hub for innovation and networking.
