We must produce more food in the next 50 years than in the previous 10,000 combined - and at a time when climate change is reducing crop productivity. However, identifying which genes to edit and how remains a major bottleneck, costing millions of dollars, taking over 2 years, and failing more than 95% of the time. At Biographica we're revolutionising this process, by harnessing recent developments in gene-editing, high-throughput sequencing and biology-aware machine learning. Our platform combines graph ML-based, in silico modelling with in vivo validation to rapidly pinpoint genomic modifications that can improve any trait, in any crop.
