Bio-zrno d.o.o. operates and manages Zrno, Croatia's oldest organic farm. The farm grows over 60 different crops that are sold directly but also used for the farm's fermented product range, on-site bakery production, as well as our own organic restaurant. Value is added throughout this unique end-to-end , farm-to-table ecosystem as well as educational programs, municipal/national initiatives, and cooperation with institutions & academia. The company produces over 100 certified organic products throughout varied product categories including Zrno bio bistro - Croatia's only certified 100% organic vegan restaurant. Innovation is at the core of the company with various unique and pioneering projects such as the biointensive no-dig market garden with over 250 raised beds. Zrno acts as the focal point of organic production in Croatia, a model and an accelerator for organic production and development by connecting and educating all stakeholders of the supply chain (extension services, government agencies, CBs, institutions, academia, traders, customer etc.). Building trust and consumer confidence is of prime importance in the age of shifting goalposts and skepticism.
