Overview

Behavior is the common denominator for all people around the world. Regardless of culture, gender, or faith we do the things we do because of the consequences we have learned. BEARS’ uses the science of behavior in three areas of clinical importance to all people in the global arena. Our autism simulation training program (Virtual Behavior for Families – VBF) focuses on teaching parents and professionals how to work with and shape the behavior of the children (clients). Compliance (adherence) to their doctor’s plan of care fails for at least 50% of patients’ world-wide. Therapeutic Behavior Management (TBM) is a series of courses designed to take health care providers from wondering why their patients are non-adherent to having a program to shape and change their behavior. The third area where we focus is providing augmentative behavior based programs for professionals, family members and people with post-traumatic stress disorder. This program is called Behavior Transitioning (BeTr). Our goal is to provide behavioral support tools to support evidence based cognitive programs.
