This platform seeks to promote mentoring and intercultural mediation through a single environment divided into two separate interfaces and a common workspace: - For teachers: an all-round solution to stimulate students' independent oral practice. Create virtual exchange classrooms with another teacher in reciprocity of the languages taught and have students work with pen pals. Propose « learning programs", follow in real time the work done and measure the progress. - For high school students: a virtual mobility solution to speak with pen pals, open up to other cultures and initiate their future student network. Beegup offers 4 main features: - An international press review: a news feed of native, neutral and reliable video articles (AFP) - A conversational mode: instant messaging, audio and video calls without leaving the platform - CEFR-certified assessment tests: progress monitoring and self-assessment on demand for students - A workspace: in 1 click, teachers create their virtual classes and their exchange classes in pairs with other teachers.
