Beards for Charity is the social impact platform for men who want to raise funds for a cause they care about. Pour contribuer, rendez-vous sur www.beardsforcharity.com --- This platform will bring together: - People who want to raise funds for causes they care about (men and women alike) - Charities that are looking for funds - Barbers who want to be part in the movement - Companies who want to sponsor the platform Imagine this: A man wants to make an impact on the world, so he decides to put his beard up for sale to raise funds for a cause he cares about. To do so, he creates a fundraising campaign on BeardsforCharity.com. He picks an existing charity on the platform, or sends a request to the charity of his choice for them to create a profile on the platform. Once it's all set up, he shares his campaign with his friends and family via social media and other means, who then donate directly to his campaign. Once he reaches his fundraising goal, by or before the target date, and he uploads the "before and after" pictures, the funds get released to the charity of his choice. The charity gets the funds and benefits from exposure to the community, and so does the barber, because we communicate about the event on social media. The barber can also choose to accept for their patrons to pay it forward. This means that men can pay for other men to be groomed and handsome. The beneficiaries are people might have limited means or no means at all, but the basic need is still the same - being clean and presentable, no matter what their situation is. When the platform becomes successful, we will also launch barber trucks in cities around the world. Finally, companies can become sponsors of the platform in exchange for advertising.
