Overview

The Poem For You ranks among China’s most popular online broadcasts, using poetry as its starting point and foundation. Through our nightly poetry program—in which a public figure reads a poem of his or her choice—we provide an immersive experience that combines music, art, poetry, and analysis to make poetry accessible and interesting to the Chinese public, as well as foster international exchange. Past participants include heads of state, ambassadors, business leaders, celebrities, actors, musicians, authors, and voices from the general public. Established in 2013, we have produced and broadcast over 1900 poetry programs through WeChat, smartphone app, and partner internet FM radio stations, transmitting to over 10 million listeners nightly and accumulating over 2 billion hits during our history. We hope to provide our listeners with the tools to lead a more poetic way of life, by taking a moment to relax, reflect, and find real meaning in the arts.
