About BDO Gibraltar BDO, originally BDO Fidecs, opened its office in Gibraltar in 1990. The practice joined the international BDO network in 1996, and since then has grown quickly to become one of the leading firms of accountants and business advisers on the Rock. About BDO International BDO is one of the top five large international accounting networks, with over 1,700 offices across 167 territories and employing over 97,000 staff worldwide. Global revenues for the year ended 30 September 2022 was a total combined fee income of 12.8 billion USD/11.8 billion EUR, representing a year-on-year growth of 12.1% at constant exchange rates (+20% in USD, +8.76% in EUR). Historically, BDO has focussed on the mid-market sector, and in particular, on growing owner-managed businesses. However, this is now changing, and given the increasing concern with regard to the concentration of audit services in the listed company market, BDO is now being considered as a real alternative to the traditional Big Four international networks.
