Overview
The Pacific Lutheran University Board of Regents' Investment Fund is a student-run organization within Pacific Lutheran University's School of Business that aims to give students hands-on experience investing real money. The fund's origins date back to 1982 when the Mary Lund Davis Student Investment Fund was originally founded by a $25,000 grant. Since then, we have grown to manage over $200,000. The Regents' Investment Fund (RIF) is run by a group of elected students, the board, who hold weekly meetings and facilitate discussions. RIF provides a great opportunity for students to gain exposure to topics and careers in finance, market discussions, and financial modeling early on in their education.
