Overview

Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin's mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. We serve youth in Calument, Outagamie, Waupaca and Winnebago Counties ages 6 through 14 with mentors in professionally supported one-to-one relationships. Matches come together through our two essential programs: 1. Community-Based Mentoring: For as little as one hour a week, Bigs and Littles meet in their community to share fun activities...stories...and a little bit of themselves. 2. School-Based Mentoring: Bigs and Littles meet once a week in schools, libraries and community centers, to talk and have fun. It's not about being a tutor...it's about being a friend. Our one-to-one mentoring programs are proven to be effective and it is only with the support of our community-that we can continue to be successful. Big Brothers Big Sisters uses the funds that we raise to match some of the communities most vulnerable kids, like those of single, low-income, or incarcerated parents, with carefully screened mentors, and we provide ongoing support to volunteers (BIGS), our children (Littles) and our Littles' families throughout the entire duration of the match-hopefully until the Littles graduate high school! START SOMETHING TODAY! Become a BIG! Donate your time to help a child reach their full potential. It could be the start of something big. Need more? Call us: 920.739.3542
