Overview
Established in fall of 2000, Barefoot Republic Camp is a non-profit organization with a multicultural ministry that seeks to facilitate the development of Christ-centered relationships among campers and staff from diverse racial, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, through an equally diverse platform of artistic, athletic and team building programs. Since its inception, Barefoot Republic Camp has reached over 3,000 children across Middle Tennessee and the United States combined. Barefoot is designed to unite a diverse population of youth from the Middle Tennessee area with their parents, the community and the church to help define God’s eternal purpose for each of them. Our organization primarily serves four groups: 1) Middle Tennessee youth between the ages of 8-17, over 60% from under-served households. 2) Young adults serving as counselors and volunteers 3) Parents and families 4) Other organizations including over 40 Middle-Tennessee churches, schools, state shelters and other youth oriented non-profits.
