The winery Albino Piona has been producing and selling wine with passion and skill for four generations. Founded in the year 1893, it is located in the area of the hills around Custoza: a land rich in history, culture and wine tours, close to Lake Garda and just a few kilometers from Verona. Right in the heart of the production area of Custoza D.O.C. and Bardolino D.O.C. In the framework of such a landscape, modeled by a mild climate, vine growing has been intertwined with history for centuries. The headquarter in Prabiano di Villafranca, Località Casa Palazzina, is the company’s beating heart. Here is where tradition and innovation meet thanks to a constant commitment and the restyling strongly wanted by brothers Silvio, Monica, Alessandro and Massimo, that is the sons and daughter of the owner Albino, named after the founder. Surrounded by a picturesque landscape, among vineyards and a gorgeous nature, the headquarter serves as a visitor center as well, where you can experience wine, local food, art and culture. There, visitors and customers may profit from a point of sale of the wines produced by the vinery, decorative objects and a wide choice of gift baskets (deliveries both in Italy and abroad directly from the company). A relaxation area is also available, where you can enjoy your wine tastings and a good book. Last but not least: a special area is dedicated to cultural, art and wine and food events in spring and summer (consult our website). Guided tours through the vinery and its key places are possible upon request, as well as tastings and ad hoc services (all upon prior booking).
