About us The AZERSTAR Manufacturing and Trading Company is one of the largest national hazelnut processors and exporters. Led by AZERSTAR founder Ilham Isayev, this small shop has grown over several decades into a large company with the impressive export volume of more than 4,000 tons of finished products per year. As of today, the company’s delivery capabilities have expanded to include the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and most European countries. AZERSTAR’s productivity in actual figures We have achieved high performance ratings in the field as we have been processing and exporting hazelnuts for many years. Hazelnuts come in many forms as required by each individual client: shelled nuts, crushed nuts, roasted nuts, blanched nuts, and nut flour. Whereas some certificates can confirm the high quality of specific products, our company is better described by these startling figures: over 10 years of international market experience (exporting since 2006); over 18 years of hazelnut large-scale production (including a factory in Zagatala since 1998); 120 hectares of the company’s hazelnuts grow in Zagatala; a team of 84 qualified processing, harvesting, and exporting specialists; Another side of our business is the effect AZERSTAR has on the environment at large, including our native city in particular. With our cooperation, our farmer partners have employed a large number of workers. As for us, of course, we are not resting on our laurels; we are still working very hard today to be as useful as possible: We systematically expanded our sales area; Zagatala hazelnuts are already in most EU shops. We make important steps toward our partners; in June 2016, we opened a warehouse in Europe. We take care of our city; we support farmers and facilitate amenity planting in Zagatala streets.
