Autec's core business is the design and industrialization of applications for industrial automation, that are exported in many countries all over the world. The mechanical and electrical design of the machines is completely accomplished inside the factory. Also the software is developed inside the company. Autec was established in 1993. At the beginning the main business was related to PU injected shoes, especially saftey shoes. In the following years new applications for PU soles were developed: Robots for automatic extraction of PU soles from the moulds, Robots for automatic applying the releasing agent, Robots for cleaning the mould, Robots for automatic trimming of PU soles, Robots for automatic roughing PU soles, Robots for automatic loading PU soles in varnishing machine. Later on the company has developed a software that controls the production of soles on time with the use of a device for Radio Frequency Identification of moulds (RFID). The aim of of this application is to plan, monitor and extract production datas directly from the offices. In 2000 Autec designed and built a digitizer for detecting the profile of soles and shoes. and in 2002 the application was improved with laser technology (no contact). In 2005 Autec made an application of the IMC (In Mould Coating) technology thant brought to a remarkable cost reduction and a reduction of enviromental impact. For the same purpose the company in 2006 focused its activity on a new and innovative method of releasing agent application. From 2011 the effort have been concentrated on the design and realization of production lines for air/panel filter for some of the major OEMs of the automotive field. In 2018 a new application has been developed and industrialized for the leather goods industry: glue application and matching with leather parts in a innovative and patented way.
