Overview

Woroni (Incorporated as ANU Student Media) is the student association responsible for the management and publication of all Woroni-branded media. We are the oldest independent student media organisation in Australia. Established in 1950, Woroni is the official ANU student newspaper. A newspaper for the university’s staff and students, Woroni covers university news and events, as well featuring in-depth analysis of local and federal political issues and higher education policy, sport, arts reviews, and cultural discussion. Woroni content is responsible for the production and publication of non-news writing and multi-media forms, both in print and online. Woroni also runs a radio station and makes regular broadcasts during semester. Woroni TV creates short and medium form videos based on campus life and news. Find us on social media @woroni
