The Australian Institute for Security and Investigative Training (AISIT) was established to provide education and training in the professional disciplines of security, investigation and surveillance. The staff of AISIT has collectively over 150 years of policing and investigative experience at a State, Federal and International level. In addition AISIT staff have extensive and recent private industry experience in security, with staff being specifically chosen for their ability to provide the highest standards of service and training. The teaching philosophy for AISIT is to provide concise, relevant and contemporaneous training to the student with the appropriate level of understanding, knowledge, and confidence so as the student is able to undertake any security, surveillance, factual or specialist investigation. It is the level of experience possessed by AISIT staff, which has enabled AISIT to create their courses to ensure AISIT students are ahead of the field. To maintain that edge over other security officers and investigators, students of AISIT will have on-going access to a student only area that provides reference to relevant legislation; quick reference and question guides for a multitude of various investigations and case law; and a secure question and answer forum with like minded professionals.
