Overview

The Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing is a national body which promotes the professional practices of non-destructive testing and condition monitoring personnel. Our mission is to provide members, industry and the community with an independent and professional level of service in relation to the science and practice of non-destructive testing and condition monitoring. At the core of our functions is the facilitation of industry certification which is managed by the certification boards. AINDT is accredited by JAS/ANZ as a Third-Party Certification Body with a scope to deliver personal certification in accordance with ISO17024, ISO20807 (AS4365), ISO9712 (AS3998), and the series of ISO18436 Condition Monitoring standards. The AINDT is part of an international network of NDT organisations including the International Committee for NDT (full member), Asia Pacific Federation for NDT and European Federation for NDT (associate member). These affiliations, along with a current MOU and Joint Vision Agreement with the British Institute of NDT, place the AINDT as a world recognised and respected Institution.
