Overview

The International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA) is the leading organization that collaborates globally to raise awareness about nature and forest therapy as a preventative, public health practice. Our current projects focus on facilitating international standards for Forest Therapy professional pathways and collaborating on research. We are committed to a consultative process with key players to define, introduce, certify, monitor and amend (where required) curricula, educational material, assessments and standards with regards to nature and forest therapy. We liaise as the Australasian peak body, professional organization and representative of nature and forest therapy with other international bodies, organizations, government departments, corporate entities or other stakeholders in the area of nature and forest therapy to promote, develop and maintain global educational, training, monitoring, research, publication and otherwise relevant standards. We aspire to support members of the alliance in their endeavors as nature and forest therapists. We strive to represent members of the alliance as the peak body of nature and forest therapy in Australia, Asia and internationally. INFTA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and learn and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
