Athene is the guild of the study program of Information networks, a student organisation that acts in Espoo Otaniemi. The studies of Information networks combine computer science, business and social studies. This means that athenians graduate as bridge builders between people, technology and economy. Information networks prepares students for many different professions, for example, consultants, user interface designers, UX-designers, programmers, service designers or entrepreneurs. Athene is one of the smaller and younger guilds in Otaniemi, yet an extremely active and visible part of the Aalto community. The guild arranges varying events, supervises the interests of students and the courses that the study program offers, maintains its relations with companies and offers a guild room for its members, where they can interact daily.
