Overview
Since 2004, AT Capital Management (formerly AT Consulting) has helped organizations with structured finance options, growth management, corporate strategy and capital raising. Its principal, Alberto Tovar has assembled a strong reputation from experiences in building a start-up, to expanding companies, to turning-around organizations. He is also very well-regarded for developing innovative solutions and fostering cultures that answer the most important questions for companies looking to scale operationally and financially: What do we believe in that no one else does? What do we promise that no other company can? What do we do that no one else dares? Most recently, Alberto was responsible for the financial recovery and revitalization of the Los Angeles County Medical Association through restructuring, redeploying strategic assets, and expanding services to physician groups. Previously, as a founding team member of Pacific Charter School Development (PCSD), Alberto managed debt/equity financing, asset management, and geographic expansion. And prior to helping launch PCSD, Alberto oversaw the acquisition of $350+ million in real estate, an array of internal audits, and the streamlining of financial and accounting systems for LAUSD. He also advised on labor, government, and media relations; the reorganization of over 4,000 employees; and the growth of the construction program from $900M to $20B. Alberto has guest lectured at Stanford University School of Engineering and Graduate School of Business and sat on several non-profit boards in California and Texas focused on education, healthcare, economic development, and philanthropy. Alberto graduated from Stanford Law School and Stanford Graduate School of Business, was a Graduate Fellow at Oxford University, received his Bachelor’s degrees from Stanford University, and has a series of professional certifications.
