Overview

The Association of Architects in Bulgaria operates in public benefit and aims at creating a network for sharing and dissemination of good practices in the sphere of architecture and spatial planning, thus endeavoring to increase the professional qualification of its members and stakeholders. The work of the Association is aimed at supporting, organizing and participating in cultural, social and research projects. It seeks and strives for successful cooperation and interaction with competent institutions, as well as for improvement of the Bulgarian legislation in the sphere of investment design, spatial planning and construction. Our members have extensive experience in identifying and disseminating good practices related to these processes. Thanks to our joint work, innovative ideas are implemented to support the work of the administration and to benefit society. Urban Improvement Initiatives at Highest Architectural Standards, Urban Surveys and Recommendations for Improving Research and study of the architectural profession in order to increase the image of the architects in Bulgaria and their role in the development and improvement of the environment. Joint projects for integrating innovation and new technologies in the field of architecture and urbanism.
