AGC/VT is proud to continue is mission to serve Vermont's construction professionals by promoting the skill, integrity, and responsibility of those who have been building Vermont for more than 80 years. Chartered in 1961 as the Associated General Contractors of Vermont, Inc. it is a state chapter to the Associated General Contractors of America, Inc., a nationwide organization representing the interests of more than 32,000 construction industry professionals. AGC/VT and the Vermont Independent Electrical Contractors Association (VIECA) has over 170 active general contractors, associate and affiliate members including equipment and material suppliers, insurance companies, technology companies, bonding firms, legal firms, financial institutions, consultants, and others with an interest in the construction industry.
