Overview

AAP is a not-for-profit initiative run by and for young Asian-Australians and more broadly, Asians Between Cultures (ABCs): those who grow up sharing cultural influences from both the East and the West. We empower Asian-Australian youth through events and initiatives that help our target audience explore and understand their unique experiences. Founded in January 2019, we are run by a passionate team of volunteers including university students, young professionals and creatives. There are 4 pillars to our mission: 1. Sharing stories, experiences, and insights that help Asian-Australians understand and navigate the unique cultural complexities that they face 2. Fostering a strong sense of community amongst young Asian-Australians 3. Connecting young Asian-Australians to leaders, role models, and mentors 4. Embracing diversity and celebrating the achievements of Asian-Australians.
