Overview

Established in 1975 to meet the communication needs of the Turkish Armed Forces with national resources, ASELSAN is a joint stock company affiliated with the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TAFF). TAFF owns 74.20% of ASELSAN shares, while 25.80% is traded on the Borsa Istanbul (BIST). ASELSAN, Turkey's largest defense electronics company, has a wide range of products that can meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as domestic and foreign authorities, in communication and information technologies, radar and electronic warfare, electro-optics, avionics, unmanned systems, land, naval and weapon systems, air defense and missile systems, command and control systems, transportation, security, traffic, automation and health technologies. Today, ASELSAN has become a brand that exports its indigenous products, ranks among the world's top 100 defense industry companies (Defense News Top 100), establishes partnerships and invests in international markets by building cooperation models with local organizations.
