Africa Startup Ecosystem Builders Summit and Awards (ASEB) 🏆 is a hallmark Ecosystem Builders event that takes place every December, bringing together the brightest minds in the startup ecosystem. This prestigious summit is held in different host cities and countries across Africa, showcasing the diversity and innovation present throughout the continent. 🌍🌟 During ASEB, we unite key players from the entrepreneurial world, including mentors, coaches, entrepreneur support organizations, universities, service providers, investors, non-profit organizations, media, government, and policymakers. Together, we champion ecosystem building as a groundbreaking model for economic development. Our mission is to stimulate collaboration, resource sharing, and knowledge exchange, fostering an environment that fuels the growth of African startups. 💡🤝 At ASEB, participants are offered a dynamic platform to interconnect, network, and learn from one another. Engaging workshops, insightful breakout sessions, inspiring keynote addresses, and thought-provoking panel discussions make this event a must-attend for anyone passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. 🌱💬 At the heart of ASEB are the awards, which recognize and celebrate the unsung heroes of ecosystem building, including individuals, organizations, communities, and institutions that have made a significant impact on the African entrepreneurship ecosystem. The inaugural ASEB was held on December 8, 2022, in Johannesburg, South Africa, with over 150 attendees from across 36 countries. It honoured 88 Ecosystem Builders (Unsung heroes) in 22 award categories, representing 25 African countries👏✨ ASEB is an initiative of Setup A Startup. Through its initiatives, Setup A Startup has helped startups raise over $2 million and remains dedicated to promoting inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship development, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem growth in Africa and beyond🌟💼
