creating positive change | Arts for YoungSTARS (AFYS) is a youth organization founded at the University of Alberta in 2013 that uses art to empower youth to take on social issues in our local and global communities. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and create a young generation of leaders committed to tackling real-world issues in their local and global communities with art. Our vision is that youth everywhere will be able to access and use art as a powerful agent in solving issues in the world around them.
