At Savitri Aquamonk, we believe in technology led solutions to aquaculture farming, especially for monitoring the L. Vannamei shrimp culture. As aquaculture farmers ourselves, our team witnessed the difficulties and problems faced in the shrimp industry. We suffered losses, craved for solutions, and looked for advice. The scarcity of reliable products and information sources have hampered our expansion plans. We took the first step. Within our farming operations, we have adopted data driven approaches to track, measure, predict and address some of these key issues. We believed in advanced technology led solutions, and utilized them to stem our losses and increase productivity in farming operations. Deployed across 1,500 acres our farm management software has captured data of over 580 crop cycles, generating traceability reports for over 2,300 Tonnes of Vannamei in the calendar year 2019. Pond tagging, water quality and weather conditions monitoring solutions have been used across 140 acres, as an incremental induction along with the software. Trade and industry analytics solutions are an extension service we offer to the stakeholders within the industry.
