Apsara Skin Care, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Sheetal Rawal, a clinical lab scientist in human genetics & a natural personal care enthusiast. The genesis of Apsara started with a question: Can effective skin care products be made without harsh chemicals; without preservatives even? As Sheetal was making major lifestyle changes (like turning vegetarian, then vegan, refusing to consume anything with a questionable ingredient in it), the answer was revealing itself rather clearly in her home lab (her launchpad into a real lab). Her love for taking the natural approach to lifestyle choices started quite early on. She remembers working with natural ingredients to make facial masks as early as at the age of 10. Apsara Skin Care, Inc. was born out of a sincere desire to develop and manufacture cruelty-free personal care products that use natural ingredients in skin-friendly formulations. Apsara offers skin and hair care products for all types of skin. In a very short time the list of offerings has grown to nearly 35 unique products.
