Aparoksha is the Annual Technical Festival of IIIT Allahabad A collaboration of, for and by tech enthusiasts, Aparoksha is a platform for technocrats to code, design and build innovative solutions to transform India into a digitally empowered society and a knowledge-based economy, all while providing a venue for self-expression and creativity. Aparoksha boasts a plethora of intensive and gripping technical events. Over the years, the flagship events like Hack in the North - a hackathon that aims in building innovative solutions to real-world problems, GrayHound - a quizzing event, Boot2root - a competitive CTF for the cybersecurity enthusiasts, Confab - a panel discussion event, StartUp Intern Fair - a three-day-long internship drive, FragFest - an event for the gaming fanatics, Humblefool Cup - the most awaited team programming event, APKTalks - a series of tech and motivational talks by eminent personalities, Alkhwarism - a national level programming competition focussing on the knowledge of algorithms, and many more have gathered the interest and brought participation from various institutes of national importance spread over the country, thus incorporating all the diversified talents of the generation. The previous iterations of Aparoksha have seen eminent personalities from various walks of life coming to deliver talks on a diverse range of topics, as well as various performances-cum-events like The Comedy Night and EDM Night. A footfall of over 16000+ enthusiasts from 130+ colleges gathered at Aparoksha and became a part of our technical family in the previous year’s edition. With this, combined with the desire to deliver an even better time to those who enjoy technology, Aparoksha’21 aims to break all barriers and come out to become one of the largest tech fests of north India.
