Overview

The Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society (ANZHNCS) was established in 1998 to promote quality care for all head and neck cancer patients. Through leading a multi-disciplinary approach to education, research, care and advocacy, the ANZHNCS has been able to minimise the impact of head and neck cancer for thousands of patients. In order to help even more, it aims to: 1) Continue to improve our high quality Australian / New Zealand annual head and neck cancer multidisciplinary scientific meeting with invited international luminary speakers from a diversity of specialties who treat head and neck cancer. 2) Use the annual scientific meeting and the other gatherings of the society to promote collaboration and interdisciplinary team building between medical and allied health specialists with a major interest in managing head and neck cancer throughout Australia and New Zealand. 3) Be a pathway of contact and building collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary international head and neck cancer societies. 4) Support research in head and neck cancer, and the sharing of knowledge.
