Overview

Anglo-American University is the oldest private institution of higher education in the Czech Republic, and one of the most international universities in Europe. It is located in the newly renovated Thurn-Taxis Palace at the foot of Prague Castle. It offers a wide variety of accredited programs, both undergraduate and graduate, to cater to the academic needs of a student body from over 80 different countries. In addition, AAU offers an international, dynamic faculty trained by some of the top schools from around the globe (including Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford, and Yale.) Furthermore, it also offers a prestigious, 17-month MBA program taught in cooperation with Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics (ASBE) based in Orange, California USA. AAU is proud to be the first and only non-U.S. University to achieve formal affiliation (currently at the candidacy status level) from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States.
