AmritaCREATE is an educational technology initiative pioneered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Social and educational systems must be designed so that it nurtures creativity and values along with knowledge acquisition. Research at AmritaCREATE focuses on the design, development, and deployment of tools that can lead to phased transformation through educational technologies. Our interdisciplinary team endeavors to create digital solutions that are affordable, accessible, and equitable. Empowerment and transformation through technology-aided education are at the heart of AmritaCREATE. To achieve these goals, we develop software, use e-learning tools, and employ data sciences. The center strives to advance research on innovative pedagogy and architectural frameworks by implementing e-Learning and m-Learning systems emphasizing personalized assessment and learning. Our center’s efforts are aligned with the university’s mission of compassion-driven research for societal impact focusing on multiple UN SDGs.
