AMRO is looking for a second Medical Review Officer to add to our dedicated team. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. - must work in-office, position is not telecommutable. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to: -Review and process negative and non-negative test results -Conduct medical interviews of donors -Discuss test results, policies, and procedures with employers -Provide management oversight of staff to ensure compliance with program requirements Requirements: -Professional degree (M.D. or D.O.) required -State medical license required -Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license required -Medical Review Officer training/certification required (willing to train the right applicant) -Substance abuse training required Medical malpractice insurance required Employer pays 100% of health+dental+vision coverage as well as other benefits. Job Type: Full-time AMRO was incorporated in 2001 due to federal regulatory changes and guidelines in Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Testing Policies. AMRO strives to provide the highest quality medical review services for Federal DOT Regulated and Non Regulated testing. Our mission is to act as an independent, impartial gatekeeper and advocate for the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process as stated in the U.S. Department of Transportation regulation 49 CFR Part 40.123.
