Overview

The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Marketing Association was established in December of 1931 by 27 marketing pioneers as one of the founding chapters of today’s American Marketing Association (AMA). AMA Philadelphia is committed to bringing our members together with key thought leaders in various marketing disciplines and industries for continued education, networking and professional development. Membership in AMA Philadelphia has grown steadily from 130 members at the end of World War II to nearly 500 members today who represent a diverse array of organizations and marketing disciplines in our region. Over the years AMA Philadelphia members have also played key roles in the leadership and direction of the national organization with six of our members serving as President of the American Marketing Association. Most recently this has included renowned Wharton professor Dr. David Reibstein.
