Overview

Alpha Gamma Rho is a social-professional fraternity sharing a common bond, training leaders in agricultural sciences, natural resources, and similar industries. It stands for the pursuit of excellence, providing every brother with the best in social, mental, and moral development; The Purpose - To Make Better Men. The Fraternity, also knows as, “AGR,”, began at Ohio State University on October 10, 1904; later merging with Delta Rho Sigma Fraternity from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on April 4, 1908, in Indianapolis. Alpha Gamma Rho maintains chapters at nearly every land-grant university and major four-year agricultural school in the United States.
