Alliance Group was established in 1998, successfully implemented a number of anti-crisis projects, being one of the pioneers of public-private partnership, and grew into a large investment holding company. In particular, the Group implemented the following projects: restructuring and consolidation of Rosneft Oil Company (OJSC) assets on the instructions of the Russian Government, implementation of the anti-crisis program of Tomsk Petrochemical Plant (OJSC) in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Nuclear Energy, rehabilitation and development of Stakhanov Railway Car Building Works (Ukraine), beginning of development of Khabarovsk Airport as a leading air hub in the Far East Federal District, development of Nakhodka Oil Loading Sea Port and oil product terminal in Sevastopol, etc. Alliance Group is headed by Musa Yusupovich Bazhaev since 2000. Alliance Oil Company Alliance Oil Company established by Alliance Group doubled its production of oil products in 2001-2014, meeting more than 30% of demand in the Far East Region. The general reconstruction of Khabarovsk Oil Refinery at the cost of over RUB 76 billion was completed. The refinery has become one of the industry leaders in terms of production efficiency and environmental friendliness. Mining of Platinum Group Metals and Gold In 2011, Russian Platinum Group was established, which included platinum mining enterprises in Khabarovsk Krai and Norilsk industrial district of Krasnoyarsk Krai. Since 2014, Alliance Group’s core operations lie in production of platinum group metals and gold.
