Overview

Alfred H. Schütte GmbH & Co. KG is a fourth-generation, owner-managed family business based in Cologne. The roots of the company, which has always been 100% family-owned, go back to the year 1880. As a global manufacturer of machine tools, Schütte employs around 600 people worldwide, 10% of whom are trainees. At its headquarter and production site in Cologne/Germany Schütte produces multi-spindle and single-spindle automatic lathes as well as 5-axis CNC grinding machines and is represented with sales and service via subsidiaries and trading partners in all important industrial regions of the world. The machines are used in the manufacture of components for general mechanical engineering, the electrical industry, the automotive and aviation industries as well as in fittings, industrial hydraulics and the medical industry.
