The mission of the Partnership is to advocate the importance of higher education in bettering the lives of people in Alabama. By bringing together individuals, businesses, and university constituencies, the Partnership seeks to develop a common voice on behalf of the state's universities. The goals of the Partnership are: 1) Identify, recruit, organize and unite advocates for higher education. 2) Advocate the needs and effectively communicate the importance of higher education to the people of Alabama and its leaders. 3) Promote new education partnerships to improve the quality of life for citizens of Alabama. 4) Provide a common voice and organized effort to take a stand for Alabama's public universities As the advocacy association for higher education in Alabama, the Partnership is known for Alabama's largest annual political rally, Higher Education Day.
