The diverse Akapp-Stemmann conductor rail systems are configurable with different numbers of copper poles, lengths and current collectors and are designed for easy and secure mounting. The robust design ensures fail free operation in harsh, industrial environments. Besides the well know connectable conductor bar system, clickable in sections of 4 meters, Akapp-Stemmann has also designed a unique conductor bar system including what we call ‘continuous copper’, without any (or minimizing) copper connections resulting in exceptionally long life of carbon brushes / current collectors. Akapp-Stemmann conductor rail systems can also be equipped with integrated positioningsystems, for example to control and position overheadcranes.
