Ajax Partner was the first German matching platform to connect startups with investors in 2008. A few years before Angel List launched in the US, the platform added value with a deal flow manager for business angels and an investor relation web application for tech startups. The technical developments, such as a matchmaking algorithm, or the so-called "Startup Widget", quickly made AJAX PARTNER known among top startups and investors. AJAX PARTNER changed its business model after a few years and focused on the needs of international investors. After the service evolved into an international business angel dealflow network and club deal vehicle, work on the AJAX PARTNER brand stopped for a few years. A brand relaunch and expansion of the service is planned for 2022.
