Overview

AgriNurture, Inc. (ANI) traces its humble beginnings in 1997 as a trader of post-harvest agricultural machineries that helped improve the productivity and income of rural Filipino farmers. Formerly known as Mabuhay 2000 Enterprises, Inc., it eventually diversified into various agro-commercial businesses and has become one of the country’s top fresh mango exporters to the world markets. ANI is able to supply fresh vegetables, fruits, and grain requirements of the leading retail and institutional accounts in the country. It also supplies homegrown fruits such as mango, banana, sweet pineapple and papaya to customers in Japan, Korea, and the Greater China region, the Middle East, Europe and North America. It has invested in Vapour Heat treatment (VHT) and Hot Water treatment (HWT) facilities to ensure the high quality of the mangoes it exports. In addition to the distribution of fresh produce, ANI also manufactures and distributes processed fruit beverages, fruit puree and mixes, dried fruit snacks, frozen fruits and vegetables, and vegetarian products, In pursuit of its vision to become a world-class supplier of high-quality fresh & processed agricultural food products, ANI recast its business structure from adopting a purely farm-to-market trading business model into a “farm-to-plate” based concept supported by full forward and backward integrations. As a result, ANI’s breadth of operations has consequently expanded and provided a strategic advantage hinged on the synergy of all business activities from farming, manufacturing, packing, trading, distribution, up to sales and retail operations. This unique and competitive agri-business model has put ANI in the best position to promote the private sector participation in agriculture as both a viable business opportunity and as an effective tool for nation-building.
