African Leadership Network (ALN)

Civic and Social Organizations

Overview

African Leadership Network (ALN) is a network for people who are passionate about developing 3 million leaders for Africa by 2060. We serve to share updates and progress towards this vision through our affiliated organizations (African Leadership Academy, ALU Education & ALU School Of Business, amongst others). Our mission is to create an annual convening place for those who believe in this vision to transform Africa. The ALN Annual Gathering brings together individuals who believe that ethical, decisive leadership is the most powerful lever for transforming Africa. It provides our attendees opportunities to deeply reflect on the role that they can play as agents of change and progress in their respective sectors. and who can see their role in developing this leadership talent. As we convene for our Annual Gathering every year, there are always tremendous opportunities for networking with prominent leaders already working in or partnering with our affiliated organizations: - Entrepreneurs: who will play a critical role in creating economic opportunities for Africa, which in the next 10-15 years will have the world’s largest workforce of 1 billion people by 2035 - Institution-builders: who aim to build efficient, well-governed public sectors - Private Sector leaders: who are driven to take existing private sector enterprises to the next level of expansion.
