The inaugural African Congress for Architecture Students will be hosted by the Architecture Students Association at the International University of East Africa in Kampala, Uganda from September 30th to October 2nd, 2023. This groundbreaking event will gather architecture students from across Africa to participate in enriching discussions, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative endeavors. The congress will serve as a platform for students to present their design projects, research findings, and innovative ideas. It will feature esteemed keynote speakers and captivating exhibitions, providing valuable opportunities for networking and professional development. The main objective of this year’s congress is to found the Federation of African Students of Architecture (FASA) We are also delighted to announce that this congress will offer an online attendance option, allowing architecture students who are unable to physically attend the event to participate virtually. With this hybrid format, we aim to ensure inclusivity and accessibility, allowing a wider audience to join the congress and contribute to the dialogue. Whether attending in person or online, the African Congress for Architecture Students 2023 promises to be a transformative experience, fostering a sense of community, inspiring creativity, and promoting cross-cultural exchange.
