Advocate Strategic Investment (ASI) is an Australian-based investment management company applying private equity analysis to identify undervalued companies. We initiate campaigns for constructive change using the principles of shareholder activism. ASI acts as a catalyst for positive change. We believe companies perform better where there is a clear understanding between boards and shareholders. ASI recognises that investment in a company is a joint enterprise between shareholders and directors. We believe shareholder returns in listed companies are more likely to succeed if investors communicate more directly with the management representing them. We focus on strategic risk management of investee companies. By doing so, we aim to provide directors with a better understanding of what is being asked of them.
