Active Children Portland elevates academic, social, and community settings for at-risk kids and those living in under-served areas throughout the Portland Metro Area. Our free, mentor-led after-school programming is based on an active and holistic approach to childhood development with a foundation built out of fitness through sport, critical thinking via creative writing and social entrepreneurship, improved overall health with nutrition education and access, and community based service learning projects.
