Overview

The African Council of Businesses and Entrepreneurship (ACOSBE) was formed in 2014, to act as a continental platform for SMMEs and Entrepreneurship development in Africa; to advocate for progressive policies in the continent’s economic integration processes, and engage in policy elaboration, debate, and trade foras. Acosbe is therefore a not-for-profit small businesses and entrepreneurship networking apex body that’ bring together the academia (entrepreneurship scholars and educators) with Micro, Small and Medium entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers, social enterprise foundations, financial service providers, international nongovernmental organizations (INGOs), and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and development partners to work towards inclusive and share prosperity through dialogue with Governments of the African Union services and Regional Economic Communities (RECs).
