The Advanced Control and Intelligent Systems (ACIS) Laboratory at the University of British Columbia was established by Dr. Homayoun Najjaran in 2006 at the Okanagan School of Engineering. The ACIS research group focuses on the theory and application of control systems engineering with a broad scope and we tackle many challenges in robotics and automation in manufacturing.
