AchieveKids provides dynamic and innovative education services for students in special education. Through a community of acceptance and respect, AchieveKids specializes in creating learning for students’ with severe emotional, learning, and/or developmental disabilities. Our dedicated teachers, behavioral health team, speech therapists, and paraprofessionals work collaboratively to create opportunity and independence in the lives of our students. This interdisciplinary team is a skillful problem solving group that instructs and guides students toward greater independence and self-reliance, enabling a path to a brighter future. With campuses in Palo Alto and San Jose, we serve multiple school districts and charters throughout the Bay. A WASC accredited school, AchieveKids is a learning organization, where all of our community learns and grows. AchieveKids believes in creating a path to a brighter future. Success within our school and community is wonderful, but we need to strive for more, helping to create opportunity in the lives of our students beyond our doors. AchieveKids creates a school culture of learning, growing, reflection, and individual and community improvement. To accomplish this task, AchieveKids utilizes the Learning for Life goals. We work to create Awareness, to develop a sense of Advocacy, to nurture one’s Ability to learn, and to enhance an individual’s Agility.
